As a story, art and motion director, I have leveraged my combined UX design, UI design, motion design and front-end digital design skillset in the edtech and tertiary education space to build unique,
interactive learning and storytelling experiences using HTML, CSS and other interactive technologies. The intersection between visual design, motion design, interaction design and visual narrative fascinates me and
is constantly evolving. If I can make it visual, I want to make it move. If I make it move, I want to make it interactive. Above all else, I want to convey a message and a story.

Umqombothi Showcase Website
KiffGif Comix Digital Comix Anthology Website
HTML & CSS
SAE Institute Cape Town's annual film, animation and sound design student showcase in 2018 aimed to promote visibility of student work towards creative industry, with the intention to secure employment the following year.
The showcase functioned as an opportunity for students to display their final third year projects and films on their linked portfolio websites, consolidated under a single online showcase website under the showcase theme brand, Umqombothi.
KiffGif Comix served as an additional digital contact point for the Umqombothi showcase exhibition. Linking to the primary Umquombothi showcase website, The KiffGif Comix website provided additional visibility of top student work through project-based, cross-departmental curriculum design, by challenging students in their motion graphics subjects to submit an online animated comic strip consisting of 9 individual square animations or videos that told a specific story. The best animations were published on the KiffGif Comix website in the form of a curated student anthology of visual narrative gif animations.

As the Senior Multimedia Lecturer at Vega School, Cape Town, I was responsible for designing and executing multimedia elements for the annual student showcase integrated
marketing campaign. This included designing and building a fully responsive GenV showcase website (built using HTML & CSS), a GenV student showreel and a
cross-department student and lecturer comix anthology publication, which acted as a direct mailer to accompany printed GenV exhibition invitations addressed to industry guests.

Portfolio website
HTML & CSS
A self-promotional brand-identity and front-end website design project using HTML & CSS. The website is an online portfolio of my favourite story art, visual
design, motion design and education projects, created in collaboration with some of my favourite clients and educational institutions. The website includes an extensive
teaching and creative education portfolio, built during my tenure at some of the top creative design and animation institutions in the country.
A personal project to showcase my portfolio of work and experience in the story art, visual design, motion design, education and creative direction space over the last 15 years.
The result is a mobile-first, fully responsive, SEO formatted website, coded from scratch in HTML and CSS without the use of any templates.
Having taught multimedia and digital design at various institutions, the goal was to showcase my combined functional, creative direction and leadership experience, while differentiating the website with a bold
complimentary colour scheme and typographic application, limiting the website build to HTML and CSS code without any gimmicks or overly decorative elements.
